Epamarcaps Strong contains fish oil that is an abundant source of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids, mainly EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
EPA and DHA help to maintain a healthy heart (beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA). DHA is important for proper brain development and function, it is also an important part of the retina, thus contributing to the proper visual function.
The body can not produce omega-3 fatty acids itself, therefore it is needed to receive it in a diet. Substituting saturated with unsaturated fats helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels.
