Bi-iomare caps contain shark liver oil. It is the source of substances such as alkylglycerols, squalamine, squalene or omega-3 fatty acids, which the body is not able to produce, and must be received in the diet. It contains docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), it is enriched with vitamin E.
- EPA / DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart
- vitamin E helps to protect cells against oxidative stress - i.e. against free radicals attack. These compounds are formed as by-product of metabolism in the cells. The older people are, the more free radicals are formed and at the same time its defensiveness against them is reduced. Free radicals have the ability to damage cells and accelerate the aging process.
